Delaware Boy Scout honored as hero

If a picture is worth a thousand words, than the smiles on the faces of these brothers say a lot. Grant Grier has a lot to smile about, but his younger brother Carson knows how special his brother is. The older Grier was award the Boy Scouts of America Heroism Award. He applied the Heimlich maneuver on his brother last June. The 4 year old was choking on a meatball when the older brother put his First Aid training to a practical use. Grant is a 12 year old First Class Boy Scout at Troop 430 in Wilmington. The Heroism Award is defined as a life-saving act on a person and putting yourself at minimal risk.
